Make A Hat For The Races

A weekend workshop for the millinery enthusiast to gain knowledge in the fundamentals of millinery. Over 2 days, the workshop will touch on various components of millinery in order to make a hat/head piece.
Focus areas will be basic blocking and covering blocked shapes, fabulous feathered creations, wire techniques, embellishing and lots of tips and tricks along the way. Each participant can expect to create one-two headpieces depending of experience. Suitable for beginners to intermediate.

*Group course fee includes the cost of some material requirements including the use of blocks, blocking material, stiffeners, wire and other incidentals and light refreshments. Does not include Parasisal, felt or straw cones and capelines. These can be purchased extra, through prior arrangement.
